2020 Mazda3 Overview

Moving up the 2020 Mazda3 configuration lineup, you see an increase in price for an increase in features. For instance, the 2020 Mazda3 Hatchback Select Package starts at $27,521 – again, though, this is eligible for a nice discount at our Guam dealership.

The 2020 Mazda3 Hatchback Premium Package starts at $31,437, but our $2,442 discount brings it down to $28,995.

Since the Mazda3 underwent a major redesign in 2019, there aren’t any massive updates for the 2020 model, so much as tweaks on a winning formula. Features like MAZDA CONNECT^TM return for 2020, enabling you to stay connected to apps and navigation inside your Mazda3 with a 8.8-inch non-touchscreen wide center display. The Mazda3 also boasts an 8-speaker standard audio system, which you can upgrade to a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

In addition to tech features, the 2020 Mazda3 continues Mazda’s commitment to fuel efficient power. Gasoline models of the 2020 Mazda3 come with a SKYACTIV®-G engine, while the diesel model boasts the Mazda SKYACTIV®-D engine. New to the 2020 model, though, is the Mazda SKYACTIV®-X, a breakthrough in efficient engine technology.

The Mazda SKYACTIV®-X engine is a Spark-Controlled Compression Ignition, or SPCCI. The SKYACTIV®-X engine utilizes an ultra lean mixture of air and fuel to achieve boosted efficiency. It slots above the 2.5-liter four-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G gas engine and is estimated to get between 20 and 30% higher fuel efficiency ratings than the gas Mazda engines.
 
The SKYACTIV®-X engine is rare to find outside of Europe and Japan at the moment – so we’re excited that it’s available on the 2020 Mazda3 models for sale at our Guam dealership. In fact, Guam is currently the only place that U.S. customers can get a Mazda3 with the SKYACTIV®-X engine!
