Kia Soul Fuel Economy: Engine Specs

Lots of Guam drivers ask us, “Why is the Kia Soul gas mileage so good?” The Kia Soul MPG is so good because of the robust and efficient engine that powers the vehicle. Here are the two available engine options:

  • 2.0L DOHC 16-valve I-4: Generates up to 147 hp and up to 132 lb-ft of torque
  • 1.6L turbocharged DOHC 16-valve I-4: Generates 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque

Regardless of the engine you choose, your Kia Soul can hold a maximum of 14.3 gallons of gas, so there is no need to worry about getting back home.
